Drawing inspiration from Chris Ashworth's "Ray Gun" Monthly Music Magazine, "Avant-Guard" is a print design that plays with unconventional space and placement. The typography is deliberately roughened, resembling a scratched-out effect, while the photography gains a 3D quality through cleverly displaced borders and the natural blur of the image.
Echoing the spirit of punk rock fashion, this design transcends its visual impact. Punk is more than its iconic ripped clothes, leather jackets, and spiky accessories; it's a medium for self-expression, rebellion, and individuality, mirroring the ethos of its music genre. "Avant-Guard" embodies this philosophy, challenging societal norms and expectations, and celebrates authenticity and self-truth.
