A MINIATURE WONDERLAND
My journey into this whimsical project began with air-dry clay, meticulously sculpted to form an enchanting forest floor brimming with vibrant, hand-painted mushrooms, each coated with a gloss varnish for a lifelike sheen. To mimic the lush undergrowth, I integrated faux moss and grass, culminating with a path of real dirt to ground the scene in nature's embrace.
The photographic magic unfolded through the lens of a fisheye, deftly used to create depth and wonder. With precision, the lens distorted the perspective, magnifying the mushrooms at the forefront while diminishing those in the distance, thereby exaggerating the scale and drawing the viewer into a fantastical realm.
